I'm updating a review on a negative comment, after the window is closed I reached out the company responded. Good or bad with their products they stand behind them which is admirable. Sometimes you get a peanut when you want an almond. I got a lemon when I wanted an orange and they made it right. Everything's worth a shot I you not feel anybody make something to be bad sometimes just things don't work. negative experiences can be a positive if we learn from the experience if it affects us or maybe those around us. . Need more positive stuff in the world. already enough negativity

I've been using an RL800 to cut our grass since 2004. The only maintenance is buying new blades (getting hard to find), sharpening old blades (using a Sharpal), and replacing the batteries. The last two sets of 12v 18ah batteries I've bought through Amazon have each lasted 5 years, almost to the day, but they have to be Deep Cycle batteries. Of course, the description for these "UPLUS LP12-20 12V 20Ah Rechargeable AGM Batteries" says they are Deep Cycle, but I can't find that printed anywhere on the battery itself. I also decided to go up to 12v 20ah for this set since they're the same size. The important thing about these size batteries is the actual WEIGHT when received. Some companies take shortcuts with inferior components or even less material inside the casings than their specifications list. Then the batteries don't last as long as they should. I experienced this once before. Unfortunately, there's no foolproof way to know how long these batteries will last right out of the box. But I do weigh them as soon as I open the box. If the weight of the battery is at least what the spec says, then I'm happy (provided it works well of course). These spec at 12.46 lbs, or 12 lbs 7.36 oz. In my photos, you can see one weighed 12 lbs 10 oz and the other 12 lbs 12.7 oz, both weighing a little more than spec out of the box. That's a good thing. The first couple of times I cut my yard with these batteries, they only went down to 1/2 on the handheld controller battery gauge. After they cool down, I hook them up to the Robomow charger that keeps them topped off with the trickle charge. That's important with this type of battery. So I'm pleased with these UPLUS batteries so far. They are priced right too. Hopefully, I can get 5 years out of this set for the $80 paid. The longer warranty than normal makes me believe I will.

Works Great!!! Our generator (2020 ) is 5 years old we needed to replace the battery cables too!!! Never had to replace the battery until 2025. When not used we kept the generator covered during cold weather. Uncovered during mild weather.

Al:You can drain a good deep-cycle battery and then recharge it to full capacity. You don't have to be very conservative with your batteries when you're on the water. Drain them, and when you get back to dry ground, recharge them with a LithiumHub charger to restore their capacity.
